The Problem

Tony Parker is a Chiropractor with clinics in Dorking and Guildford in Surrey. Despite his many years of experience and regular new business through referrals Tony felt that he was losing out on extra revenue by not being visible to local people searching for a chiropractor online. As a result, he reached out to us to help get his business verified in Google Maps and optimised for Google My Business local search listings.

The Results

Within the first couple of months Dr Parker already started receiving enquiries from people who found him listed in The Google My Business 3 Pack. After just 6 months of further optimisation on his business listing we were able to report a substantial 30% increase in new local business.

Technique #1

Setup and Complete all Google Related Properties

Google Mail

The first stage of the optimisation process was to create a new Gmail account to facilitate the addition of setting up a Google Plus page and Google My Business account.

Google My Business

In order to create and verify the local business listing we had to create a Google Plus page and Google My Business account. These are then populated to start the optimisation process.


A crucial part of the Google My Business ranking process was to setup and optimise a YouTube account. Knowing that Googlle owns YouTube this gives extra credibility to the ranking process.

Optimise Profiles for Google My Business Search

Keywords & Categories

After initial research we populated all online profiles with identified targeted keywords and correct business categories which resulted in a 3 pack Google Maps ranking and an increase in new customer enquiries.

Website Integration

A crucial stage of optimisation was to make sure all NAP details were consistent added to their website, other Google and online profiles. This included the verification of the business to appear in Google local search.

Using Video & Images

To create extra ranking authority we used an optimised video on YouTube and strategically tagged images on authority image storage sites. These create needed backlinks and enhanced the Google My Business listing.

Boost Google My Business Ranking

Directory Listings

To re-inforce the ranking in the Google My Business ranking we created further authority links by registering the business on a variety of premium online directories. This step helps to keep the listing optimised for local search.

Customer Reviews

We understand how important proof of service quality is to help encourage new potential customers. For this reason we added a number of online reviews to demonstrate spinal health results new clients can benefit from.

Confirmed Citations

As part of our ongoing strategy we then confirmed citation listings on online directories by reaching out to past customers and requesting that they add a review to our clients authority site listings.
